支援非華語學生措施

Kindori

The earlier the Non-Chinese speaking (NCS) children start learning Chinese language, the better they can adapt to the local curriculum and integrate into the local community. EDB encourages parents of NCS children to arrange for their children to study in kindergartens which provide a Chinese language immersion environment as early as possible to facilitate Chinese language learning. To this end, our school has implemented a series of measures to support NCS children in kindergartens. For example, additional teaching staff and teaching assistants have been recruited to support Chinese language learning of NCS children, after-school Chinese learning groups, moderation of assignments and learning assessment, and provision of English version of documents for parents.
